Pilgrim Shelter Activities 2024
After its refurbishment last year the Pilgrim Shelter has resumed its role as a community hub with its own programme of events for both Trimingham residents and interested non-residents. Running in tandem with Trimingham Hall down the road, events at the Shelter will have their own distinct character in more intimate surroundings. Do pop in and join us if there’s any activity which catches your fancy, and by all means feel free to suggest ideas for additional activities. Here is our programme of regular activities. For precise dates please look at the “What’s On” tab at the top of the website.
WEDNESDAY
Second Wednesday in the month:
- Poppyland Pilgrim Shelter at 2pm Second Wednesday every month. Non-members are welcome along for a small fee of £3
Third Wednesday in the month:
- Coffee Morning at the Pilgrim Shelter From 9am (third Wednesday every month) All welcome
- Gardening Club 2pm-3.30pm Pilgrim Shelter £2 incl raffle & refreshments. All welcome
Fourth Wednesday in the month:
- Soup and Pud lunch in the Pilgrim Shelter. Please let us know if you’d like to come. We would be able to cater for 12 people. If you are interested please ring either Linda (834349) or Dot (833249 after 6.00pm) to book a place.
FRIDAY
Alternating fortnightly:
- Craft Circle 2pm- 3.30pm Pilgrim Shelter £1.50 All welcome – For more information ring Dot on 833249 after 6.00pm
- Pilgrim Shelter Book Club 2pm-4pm. It will be open to everyone who would like to chat books, ones you’ve read and would recommend to others. Bring along a favourite book to discuss. Or just come along for a chat. We have quite a number of books in the Shelter library, so we do not require any more yet! This is a fortnightly event alternating each Friday with the Craft Circle.
SUNDAY
Every first Sunday of the month:
- Pilgrim Shelter Table Top Sale from 9am to 1pm. Refreshments available: tea, coffee, bacon rolls, cakes etc All welcome.
