Whist Tournaments take place on a very regular basis in Trimingham’s Pilgrim Shelter and are extremely popular with local people. Games of Whist take place simultaneously at tables arranged in a circle around the room. At the conclusion of each round, losers get up and move clockwise to the next table, while winners sit tight. Points are totted up at the end of the evening and an overall winner declared.
If you are interested, Whist is on every Sunday, Monday, Thursday and alternate Fridays from 1.15pm till 4pm, as well as on Tuesday and alternate Friday evenings from 7.00 for a 7.15pm start. A regular feature is the Raffle. An entry donation of £2 covers use of the facilities and refreshments. Contact Liz 01263-834965
