Covid 19 Update

Covid 19 Community Update

Trimingham Village Hall Trust – the new Government guidelines may have led to a little confusion over the “rule of six” that comes into force on Monday next, 14 September 2020.

On behalf of the trustees and management committee, I would like first of all to welcome back the groups and activities that have returned to the hall over the past few weeks. It is good to see the building come alive again. I would like to add my thanks to all those individuals and groups for following the new guidelines put in place to protect all users in respect of Covid-19, and ensuring that the venue is safe. I know we will all continue to do our best to keep everyone safe.

The new rules put in place from Monday DO NOT affect any of our current activities within the hall. We, like other halls in the immediate area, are permitted to host more than the six inside provided that social distancing and all the other Covid requirements put in place by the committee are adhered to throughout any group booking.

I do hope this will help to clarify the situation and look forward to being able to welcome even more groups back to the hall over the next few months. Should you require more detailed information, please do visit our website, Trimingham.org, where you will find all of the Covid-19 risk assessments additional conditions of hire and working procedures.

Keep safe.
